2 injured when vehicle strikes tree Washington Co.

POTOSI, MO – Two people were injured on Monday when their car collided with a tree in rural Washington County.

Scotty Allen, a 27-year-old resident of Farmington, was driving his 2008 Toyota Tundra on MO-8 when he lost control of the vehicle near Franklin Sub Road. The Tundra left the road, went airborne, and crashed into a tree. Allen received minor injuries, while his 25-year-old female passenger received moderate injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper who responded to the scene believes that driver inattention was responsible for the crash.
