2 hospitalized following collision in southwest St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO – Two men were transported to the hospital following a collision southwest of downtown St. Louis Thursday evening.

According to the official crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at the intersection of Butler Hill Road and the I-55 on-ramp at about 5:15 p.m.

Police say the accident happened after one the driver of a 2006 Jeep Liberty ran a red light and struck the driver in a 2011 Chrysler Town and Country that was attempting to turn towards the on-ramp

Both individuals were taken to Mercy Hosptial South to be treated for minor injuries following the crash.
