2 drivers injured in multi-vehicle crash on Broadway and Gimblin Rd

ST. LOUIS, MO – Two drivers were injured, one of them seriously, in a multi-vehicle crash on Broadway on Wednesday night, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD).

The crash happened on N Broadway and Gimblin Road at 8:49 p.m., as a black 2015 Ford Escape, driven by Tracy R. Simpson and a white GMC Terrain, driven by Rosalyn Hopgood, were stopped in traffic.

The driver of a black Chevrolet Malibu, Chantez L. Hopgood, began to skid on the roadway. The Malibu then collided with the GMC and the Ford.

Chantez Hopgood sustained serious injuries in the crash.

Simpson also suffered possible injuries.

Rosalyn Hopgood and her juvenile passenger were not hurt in the accident.
