19-year-old suffers serious injuries after Washington County car crash

COURTOIS, MO (WASHINGTON COUNTY) – A 19-year-old driver was seriously hurt in Washington County following a single-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on 29544 Highway C at noon, when Cadet resident Devin C. Ketcherside, 19, lost control of a 2003 Saturn Ion.

The Saturn then ran off the side of the road and crashed, causing total damage to the vehicle.

Ketcherside was taken to Phelps Health Hospital with serious wounds. He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt.

No other injuries were reported in the accident.
