19-year-old seriously injured after colliding with pole

FENTON, MO – A 19-year-old was seriously hurt in a single-vehicle collision on Highway 30 early Sunday morning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of the highway, at the intersection with Delores Drive, at 1 a.m.

19-year-old Zachary J. Vincent, of Fenton, lost control of a 2015 Nissan Altima which then collided with a traffic signal pole and the curb.

Vincent was taken to Mercy Hospital South with serious injuries. He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt when the crash occurred.

The Altima was totaled in the collision.
