19-year-old passenger injured after Equinox hydroplanes

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO – A 19-year-old female passenger was injured after a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox hydroplaned and crashed into a median wall on Wednesday morning.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, Alice D. Wood was traveling east on I-44 when her Chevrolet hydroplaned and crashed into a median wall twice. The accident happened east of Antire Road around 9:15 a.m.

Allexis J. Karynik-Breuklander was transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis for unknown injuries.

Both the driver and passenger were wearing seat belts.

The Chevrolet was totaled.
