19-year-old driver seriously injured after crash in Washington County

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MO — A 19-year-old male driver sustained serious injuries early Wednesday after a single-car crash in Washington County, according to a crash report by Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The young man, a resident of Cadet, was traveling southbound on Route 47 in a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to travel off the left side of the roadway and overturn.

He was rushed to Washington County Memorial Hospital by ambulance. His condition has not been disclosed.
