19-year-old driver injured in northbound I-270 accident

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO – A 19-year-old Florissant driver was injured in accident on northbound I-270 on Tuesday afternoon.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Niyah L. Brown was traveling north on I-270 when her 2009 Honda Accord broke down and was partially blocking the left lane. Ehrman L. Davis, 21, was traveling north on I-270 in a 2019 Nissan Altima when he hit the Honda. The accident happened north of Dorsett Road around 1:40 p.m.

Brown was transported to DePaul Hospital for minor injuries. She was wearing a seat belt. Davis was not wearing a seat belt.

Both vehicles were totaled.
