1 injured in head-on crash on Gravois Road in Jefferson Co.

JEFFERSON CO., MO – A woman was injured yesterday when the vehicle she was driving crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a pickup truck, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

According to the MSHP incident report, the incident happened on Gravois Road at Weldon Lane. Lisa Winkler’s westbound Lexus HS crossed into the eastbound lanes and collided with a Mazda B 3000 driven by a 17-year-old male. Both vehicles were totaled, and Winkler was taken to Mercy Hospital South with moderate injuries.

The other driver does not appear to have been injured.
