1 injured in early morning crash on I-64

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO – One man was hospitalized following a single-vehicle collision on I-64 early Tuesday morning.

According to the official crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-64 on the ramp connecting to I-70 shortly after 7:00 a.m.

Troopers say 31-year-old, Jonathan Banta lost control of his vehicle and struck a guardrail on the left side of the road. Banta was transported to SSM Health St. Joseph to be treated for minor injuries sustained in the crash.
