Michael was born and raised in St. Louis where he continues to live with his wife and son.

Michael practices in the areas of products liability, contingency fee commercial litigation, class action litigation, and general personal injury litigation. He is licensed to practice in Missouri, Illinois and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.

Michael obtained both his undergraduate and legal education in the State of Missouri. He attended college at Missouri State University where he majored in Finance and graduated cum laude. Michael then attended law school at the University of Missouri-Columbia where he was a member of the Missouri Law Review and had two works published, The Current State of Co-Employee Immunity Under Workers’ Compensation Law, 70 Mo. L. Rev. 1315, and Missouri’s Interfacing of the First Amendment and the Right of Publicity: Is the “Predominant Purpose” Test Really That Desirable?, 69 Mo. L. Rev. 799.
