|
Decedents rear ended a semi-trailer truck while under the influence of alcohol. The underride bar broke, allowing the car to undergo the rear of the truck. The driver died from decapitation. The passenger survived for over 30 days in the ICU before passing from traumatic brain injury. The passenger was survived by her parents and minor daughter. The case resulted in a confidential settlement.
