It is being reported that on Saturday, March 5, a Toyota was driving north on U.S. 61 when it crashed into a 1995 van.
The Toyota, driven by a 57-year-old resident of St. Louis, was changing lanes when it struck the back of the van, driven by a 38-year-old man, before veering off of the road and hitting an embankment.
Donahue, who was the only person involved in the motor vehicle accident not wearing a seatbelt, was later taken to the Pike County Memorial Hospital for medical treatment. He was the only person involved who suffered serious injuries.
Five children who were in the van, a 14-year-old, 10-year-old, 7-year-old, 5-year-old and 1-year-old, were taken to receive medical care as well, but are only reported to have minor injuries.
