Juliane was raised near Scott Air Force Base in the Southern District of Illinois just outside of St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated magna cum laude from Saint Louis University where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and International Business.
Juliane received her law degree from Saint Louis University School where she graduated cum laude with a Concentration in Civil Litigation. During her legal education, Juliane was a member of the Dean's List and the Executive Editor of the Saint Louis University Law Journal, the University's premiere law review. Juliane was also awarded Academic Excellence Awards for excellent achievement in the study of Remedies and Client Counseling.
While in law school, Juliane worked as a Rule 711 licensed student attorney at the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Illinois and as a Rule 13 licensed student attorney at the Saint Louis University Legal Clinic's Civil Litigation Division. She has argued cases before the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District, and has written appellate briefs for the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Missouri.
Since joining Onder, Shelton, O'Leary & Peterson, LLC, Juliane has gained extensive experience in the areas of personal injury and products liability, including mass tort litigation. She has represented thousands of individuals nationwide who have been injured by pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. Most recently, Juliane is heading the firm's litigation team pursuing transvaginal mesh and vaginal mesh product liability claims.
Juliane is a member of the Missouri Bar and is a certified mediator in the areas of civil and domestic relations. She will become a member of the Illinois Bar in 2013.
