Investigation Underway in Boating Accident that Left Six Injured

At approximately 12:45 on Sunday morning, a 23-foot pleasure vessel struck the northwest shoal of Calumet Island. Six of the boaters suffered from various injuries, three of whom had to be hospitalized and at least one is listed as critical. Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the St. Lawrence River boating accident.
